Best hourly court rental in Shah Alam
These are the Shah Alam venues where renting a court by the hour is a core service, ranked by an earned composite score (see our methodology). Scores were last updated 2026-10-18.
Businesses that only offer courts as a side service are left out. For a badminton-only view, see the best badminton court overall. The order follows the composite score, which weighs rating, review volume, recency, sentiment and listing completeness, so venues with few reviews sit lower even when their rating looks high.
Picks are ranked by score and relevance to hourly court rental, so a lower overall score can rank higher here.

Forum SBA

Regulars return weekly to this Setia Alam spot, and a 4.1 rating from 189 reviews backs that up. Parking is plentiful and there is a badminton shop inside the complex, which helps if you need a grip or shuttles.
Pros
- Central Setia Alam location
- Plenty of parking
- Badminton shop on site
- Good for casual sessions
Watch out: One reviewer found it very hot indoors, and only seven recent comments carry text.
Services: Hourly Court Rental, Coaching & Academy Programs, 24-Hour / Late Night Courts, Tournament & League Venues
SUK Selangor Sports Complex
Why it ranks third
This Seksyen 5 complex has the highest composite score here, on a 4.2 rating from 181 reviews. Reviewers describe it as complete, with roomy parking, clean toilets and friendly staff, and there is a gym on site.

Services: Hourly Court Rental
Shah Alam National Sports Complex Panasonic
Why it ranks fourth
A big Section 21 stadium with a running track and 3,421 Google reviews at 4.1. Many reviewers find it well lit at night and good for jogging and sports days, but opinion is split on upkeep.
Pros
- Large venue with running track
- Well lit at night
- Very high review volume
- Suits jogging and sports days
Watch out: Reviewers report dirty, smelly toilets, an aging building, heat in the morning and poor wheelchair access.
Services: Hourly Court Rental, Tournament & League Venues, 24-Hour / Late Night Courts, Coaching & Academy Programs
Shah Alam Badminton Centre
Why it ranks fifth
Cheap weekday play and cool courts draw regulars, though the rating is 3.9 from 121 reviews. The rooftop sits in an unused parking structure and the mood changes after dark.
Pros
- Cheap weekday play
- Cool courts
- Regular following
- Rooftop courts
Watch out: Poor lighting, empty floors and dirty facilities make it feel unsafe after dark, especially for solo female players.
Services: Hourly Court Rental, Coaching & Academy Programs, 24-Hour / Late Night Courts, Tournament & League Venues
Sportizza Shah Alam, Batu 3
Why it ranks sixth
A modern complex in Hicom-Glenmarie Industrial Park with both indoor and outdoor courts, rated 3.9 from 67 reviews. Reviewers like the atmosphere and the choice of facilities, but practical issues come up often.
Pros
- Modern, spacious complex
- Many court types on one site
- Good atmosphere for spectators
- Easy parking on some visits
Watch out: Slippery courts, full parking, toilet water problems and no shuttlecocks provided.
Services: Hourly Court Rental, Tournament & League Venues, 24-Hour / Late Night Courts, Air-Conditioned Halls
Ninja Sport Shop @ TSB Sungai Buloh (Ninja Badminton)
Why it ranks seventh
All seven Google reviews are five stars, mostly about honest stringing advice and no pushy upselling. That is a very small sample, so treat the score as an early read. Reviews say little about court hire itself.
Pros
- Honest string advice
- Professional restringing
Watch out: Low confidence: only 7 reviews, and they focus on stringing rather than courts.
Services: Hourly Court Rental, Pro Shop & Racket Stringing, Coaching & Academy Programs
Stadium JKR Shah Alam
Why it ranks eighth
The Section 17 stadium track averages 3.7 from 192 reviews. Recent reviewers like it for jogging, walking and sport during set morning and evening hours.
Pros
- Public running track in Section 17
- Set morning and evening hours
- Parking nearby
- Suits sport activity
Watch out: Walkers and joggers share lanes awkwardly, the track is short, and the nearby junction jams at peak hours.
Services: Hourly Court Rental, 24-Hour / Late Night Courts
Dewan Badminton Kelab Sukan SUK Selangor
Why it ranks ninth
Reviewers like easy online or phone booking, low prices, clean toilets and friendly management, with a 4.1 rating from 32 reviews. The newest reviews are old, so the picture may be dated and confidence is low.
Pros
- Easy online or phone booking
- Affordable court rates
- Clean toilets and ample parking
- Friendly staff
Watch out: Glare from lighting in the middle courts, slippery floors, weak ventilation and no air conditioning.
Services: Hourly Court Rental, 24-Hour / Late Night Courts, Tournament & League Venues, Air-Conditioned Halls
Sport Complex Section 6
Why it ranks tenth
An established local venue open seven days, rated 4.0 from 21 reviews. Reviews describe a regular crowd and community feel but give little detail on courts or service, so confidence is low.
Pros
- Open 7 days
- Established local venue
- Community of regulars
- Accessible facility
Watch out: Sparse review detail makes facilities hard to judge.
