Best badminton courts in Subang Jaya
This is the full ranked list of badminton venues in Subang Jaya, scored on our methodology of rating, review volume, recency, sentiment, verification, and listing completeness. It covers everything from drop-in courts and coaching academies to multi-sport complexes and one court builder, so you can see who does what best.
If you just want to book a court by the hour, the best hourly court rental page ranks venues purely on that use case. This flagship list is broader: it weighs coaching quality, facilities, and community courts alongside pure rental, which is why a strong coaching academy or a well-run outdoor court can sit near venues with far higher review counts.
Picks are ranked by score and relevance to badminton court, so a lower overall score can rank higher here.

Lavana 2 Sports Centre (Subang)
Why it ranks second
Lavana 2 pairs new rubber courts and hourly rates from RM30+SST with a big review base of 332, which makes it a solid pick for players who want decent surfaces without paying premium prices. The surau, on-site shop, and food court add practical convenience for regulars.
Pros
- Affordable hourly rates

- Wall-mounted fans throughout for ventilation
- On-site surau and food court
Watch out: Front desk attitude, rat sightings, and weaker women's restroom facilities come up often enough to note.

Forum Optimum Badminton Centre
Why it ranks third
Forum Optimum draws the second-highest review count on this list (449) and reviewers consistently rate the court spacing and lighting as a step above the norm. Air conditioning holds up on quiet days, though it struggles once the venue fills up.
Pros
- Spacious court layout with plenty of clearance
- Bright, glare-free lighting
- Air-conditioned comfort on slower days
- Ample parking at off-peak times
Watch out: Parking gets tight during peak hours, stringing at the pro shop has drawn complaints, and there's no food or hangout space beyond a vending machine.
Services: Hourly Court Rental, Pro Shop & Racket Stringing, Air-Conditioned Halls, Coaching & Academy Programs
X Park Sunway South Quay
Why it ranks fourth
X Park Sunway South Quay is the go-to option for anyone who plays outside normal hours, with round-the-clock access and staff reviewers describe as genuinely helpful. It carries the largest review volume on this list at 617, though the rating sits lower due to recurring facility complaints.
Pros
- 24-hour badminton access
- Friendly, attentive staff
- Affordable hourly rates
- Convenient location
Watch out: Ventilation runs stuffy, parking is limited, and there are recurring maintenance issues with turf and toilets.
Services: Hourly Court Rental, Tournament & League Venues, 24-Hour / Late Night Courts, Air-Conditioned Halls
Vsmash Badminton Academy
Why it ranks fifth
Vsmash gets a strong 4.6 rating and its BWF-standard courts and in-house stringer (Xiang) draw specific praise from players who care about surface and stringing quality. Reviews are limited to 26 so far, so treat this as an early but positive signal rather than a settled track record.
Pros
- Good court condition and flooring
- Skilled on-site stringer and Yonex pro shop
- BWF standard courts
- Demo rackets available and easy parking
Watch out: Bathroom cleanliness has been flagged repeatedly, and some reviewers say complaints about it went unaddressed.
Services: Hourly Court Rental, Coaching & Academy Programs, Tournament & League Venues, Air-Conditioned Halls
Elements Badminton Court
Why it ranks sixth
Elements has recently redone its flooring and lighting, and current reviewers describe clean courts at competitive pricing that suit both casual games and serious sessions. An older review flagged broken benches and stringing delays, but the freshest feedback trends positive.
Pros
- Recently upgraded floors and lighting
- Clean, well-maintained courts
- Competitive pricing
- Parking available on site
Watch out: Some past reviews mention worn benches and slow pro-shop stringing, plus occasional booking communication hiccups.

Badminton Court @ X Park
Why it ranks seventh
This X Park badminton court is open seven days a week and reviewers single out its non-glaring lighting and covered parking as genuine time-savers. With 77 reviews behind a 4.3 rating, it's a reasonable everyday option rather than a standout.
Pros
- Non-glaring lighting system
- Covered parking, no hassle
- Open seven days a week
- Part of a multi-service facility
Watch out: Some players describe the flooring as plastic-like and unstable, and courts have been called small, with occasional odour and cleanliness complaints.
Services: Hourly Court Rental, Air-Conditioned Halls, 24-Hour / Late Night Courts, Pro Shop & Racket Stringing
USJ 23 Badminton Court & Pickleball Centre
Why it ranks eighth
USJ 23 has more reviews than almost anything else on this list (812) simply because of its scale, with multiple courts covering both badminton and pickleball seven days a week. The rating sits at 3.8, dragged down by recurring surface and upkeep complaints.
Pros
- Spacious venue with multiple courts
- Toilet facilities available
- Seven-day operation
- Caters to both badminton and pickleball
Watch out: Court surfaces have bumps and debris, the pro shop keeps inconsistent hours, and written complaints haven't always gotten a response.
Services: Hourly Court Rental, Tournament & League Venues, Air-Conditioned Halls, 24-Hour / Late Night Courts
Kompleks 3K MBSJ
Why it ranks ninth
Kompleks 3K MBSJ runs a clean, affordable facility with easy app-based booking through Gemilang MBSJ, which reviewers appreciate for the price at RM3 entry. Fixed two-hour session windows and a non-refundable fee policy limit flexibility for some users.
Pros
- Clean, well-maintained facility
- Affordable entry fee
- Easy mobile app booking
- 50m Olympic-length pool alongside courts
Watch out: Phone communication is unreliable, tiles around wet areas can be slippery, and session times are fixed rather than flexible.

SK Badminton Academy USJ1 Branch
Why it ranks tenth

Why it ranks #11

- Experienced, patient coaches
- Clean courts with good ventilation
- Cafe and surau on site
- Programs for beginners through advanced players
Watch out: A few reviewers mention the venue running warm despite air conditioning; the review base is still small.

Subang Racquet & Golf Center
Why it ranks #12
Subang Racquet & Golf Center covers badminton, pickleball, and golf under low hourly rates, with a large 598-review base confirming steady demand for the price point. The trade-off is a lower composite score driven by well-documented maintenance and safety complaints.
Pros
- Low hourly rates for court rental
- On-site pro shop for equipment and repairs
- Decent driving range
- App-based booking system
Watch out: Cracked surfaces, leaking water, and broken toilets have been reported repeatedly, and courts 1-6 are noted as worse than courts 7-12.

Dewan MPSJ SS15
Why it ranks #13
Dewan MPSJ SS15 keeps prices low at RM15 an hour with 24-hour access and a central Subang Jaya location, which explains its steady following despite the hall's age. It's a functional pick for casual games rather than a polished one.
Pros
- Low hourly rates
- Central, convenient location
- 24-hour access
- Adequate parking
Watch out: There's no air conditioning, the cement floor and paint show wear, and online booking can be confusing for first-time visitors.
Services: Air-Conditioned Halls, Hourly Court Rental, 24-Hour / Late Night Courts, Pro Shop & Racket Stringing
Tennis Court Builders (M) Sdn Bhd
Why it ranks #14
